Who are you feeling the love for in the Labour Leader race? (Poll) [View all]

With Barry Gardiner threatening to put his hat in the ring as a left alternative to Rebecca Long Bailey, bringing up to 7 the MPs who fancy their chances... who are you leaning towards at the moment?

I am behind Jess Phillips, with Lisa Nandy a very close second. However part of me does not want either of them to win this time round as I do not think, for one second, that the leader who tries to heal the party will be the Labour Leader who will be Prime Minister. 5 years to the next election, and the swing next time round will be too big to take power. All they can do is hope to chip away at it enough to make a win possible in 2029, which means the election of a new leader is distinctly possible after the next general election, step in Jess or Lisa at that point? It is a thought.

Who do you want and why???
