I’m so glad to see you trying it. When I’m drawing I like a smaller canvas although the life drawings I did are pretty big. But when I’m painting I prefer using large canvases that are 2ft by 3ft minimum. And there’s a world of difference in comparing my drawings to my paintings. I hope you like it! Once you figure out how to lay the paint down you’ll do great. Maybe try a larger brush for the broad areas like the water and the sky. One that hold more liquid.
