12. I have always thought

that the reason this rendition works is because she is within a setting. The model always brought something to add to her poses. In this case she brought the throw she’s sitting on and which she draped over the large pillows. And, for some reason when she posed I was extremely lucky to get compelling views. I have another drawing in which she wore a large floppy hat which I will post another day.

I liked the drawing with the floppy hat so much that I used it to paint her portrait. I’ll post that too at a later date.
