Anybody got any tricks to disciplining cats? Mine jumps on me when he's jumping from the window [View all]

to the desk. Or going to the mantle from the couch. I'm covered in scratches. I want him to respect my space. But I don't want to traumatized him too much. As of yet, scolding have included me wagging my finger and say no, no, no loud. To which he hunters
down and purrs really loud. I think he thinks it is a game.
