Kicked in the head by a train:

A guy attempting to take a selfie in front of an oncoming train has learned an important lesson. That lesson is: maybe dont attempt to take a selfie in front of an oncoming train.
Hes got his serious selfie face all ready when all of a sudden the trains conductor lets out a yell and then sticks out his leg, kicking the guy square in the head.

This would-be selfie-taker, Jared Michael, posted a video of these action-packed 10 seconds on YouTube, explaining, I tried to take a selfie while a train passed a safe distance behind. I guess I was still too close and got kicked in the head. I messed up.

Meh, he was outside the danger zone, would have been safe if the conductor didn't take 'things' so seriously | |

Looks to me like Jared Michael's desire for cheap attention exceeded his risk-threshold

Dumb-risk seems to get the most attention, which in turn probably promote more of it.

Bad place to stand for a selfie, but it doesn't look like a good career move for

From the gif it doesn't look like the kick was intentional. Hard to tell though. n/t

I don't think so - the conductor is reaching out past the edge of the train to make the kick
