that after a while, with others (like you) who object to their constant, ridiculous and nonsense postings, still do it, despite being told not to.

Just because I gave out an email address or the like, doesn't mean I want to listen to their political BS or ignorant beliefs, etc.

I did this to my brother of all people because he kept sending copies of jokes that I've seen too many times.

Couldn't tell him no, not to, he wouldn't listen, got mad, etc., so zap!

It's was so nice to be able to do this, it's the equivalent of 'busy signal' or 'number not recognized' in the voice world. Some people just won't listen (they demand that you pay attention to them, but then when you try and say something to them, they get totally bent out of shape and still ignore your reasonable request (don't send jokes, I've seen them all).
