8. I am a broken record on this subject. I feel our leaders in the reproductive rights movement

have not spoken up more bravely and publicly and changed hearts and minds on this issue over the past 20 years or so. They have relied on "having friends in high places" and on court decisions. Fine as far as that goes. But at some point, there has to be a public face so that people can feel good about supporting PPFA and NARAL.

After seeing examples like the Gay Rights Movement, the WI Dems in their fight for union rights, and OWS, our own reproductive rights organization leadership is quietly (as usual) taking a back seat.

This needs to change and change now!
