If they were just props, he would just feel indifferent toward them. But President Bonespurs has an active disdain toward true heroes. He thinks people who enlist in the military are suckers for voluntarily putting their lives on the line and for what? Their country?! You can picture him snorting with a mix of mockery and amusement. To him, our enlisted men and women are "dopes" because they didn't put their own self-interest above all else, like he himself does at every turn.

This latest outrage is by far the worst he has committed. Russian bounties on U.S. soldiers' heads and he did nothing? And continues to do nothing? Indefensible.

What I wonder is when he will trot out that tremendously insensitive remark he made to Myeshia Johnson, the widow of a soldier who died in that ambush in Nigeria: "He knew what he signed up for!"

I dare Trump to try to comfort the mothers and fathers of soldiers that died from the Russia bounty program with that gem.
