5. We should jam the phone lines of the Congressional switchboard instead.

It takes less time to make a few calls, and it actually impacts them, unlike a protest or march, which they ignore. Not that protests and marches don't have their place in the resistance, but people need to call their members of Congress every week, not just when some key legislation is being voted on. I make calls every Monday morning. It takes about 15 minutes to compose a brief message & make the calls.

The last time we jammed the Congressional switchboard was the financial crisis of 2008. Are we there yet?
