2. I'm a high school teacher and way too many of my students love Ben Shapiro.....

I try to keep my politics out of the classroom as I'm not tenured, but I do try to question them as to why they like him, what it is that he says, etc. And it rarely boils down to more than "he seems smart" or "I like the way he explains things".

It's scary but I'm hopeful that they outgrow it as his entire appeal seems to be only to young bourgeoning conservatives, and even older conservatives don't really seem that interested in him.
