Met him when he played with Argent at the old Electric Factory in Philadelphia late 1969(I think.Could of been early 1970. My memory is fuzzy).

Was Argent's 1st US tour. Jim Rodford was one of those solid players with great backing harmonies. Not flashy,but one of those players you got when you were in a pinch. If you got him in your band you knew it would sound good. Saw him with the Kinks as well and I think he filled in an emergency situation with Wishbone Ash when I saw them once.

He was also a really humble nice guy! RIP.
