Police in Norway - seldom use violence - and if they have to use violence - to subdue a person - it is a dam good reason for doing so - not just because they wanted to make a statement about something... And even if they have to use some force, violence if you want it - it is no more than just enough to subdue a person of interest.. A few years ago I had some nabours who was less than good - a lot of substance misuse, drugs if you want - and a person who for a few days had been a pain in the ass - for everyone was walking around and being a menace for everyone really - the police had to came there more times than I wanted to count for this one person - in the end he had to be arrested - and he go one of his spits - angry, treating the police and was not working with the police at all... The officers (it was two of them) had to take the man to the ground - and did it effective - and with as little violence as human possible I think - one of them had to use his stick - to just hit the fellow in the back of the knees - on some muscles there - and the person was just hitting the Grass faster than a timber going down - he was handcuffed - and was escorted to the car - where hi again was making some fits - but then the two police officers just took him between them - and put him inside the car and told him to shut up and behave - as he was not allowed at the premises at the moment... And then the police drove away to the PD for him to cool down a little...
