bloody obvious:
Delay, delay, delay until he has the requisite number of delegates to secure the Republican nomination (which will happen sometime in mid-March).
Then shift to a "This judgment belongs in the hands of the People come election day" position which the courts may very well accept being able to hide behind the "Political Question" doctrine.
There has never been an American politician with this much of a Machiavellian bent.

The Constitution does not block Court cases from proceeding just because someone is running in any election.
