(3,579 posts)20. A return to an airmail rate for domestic mail??
The domestic airmail rate for letters was eliminated in 1976. When this occurred, it was required that first class letter mail travel by the fastest method possible, but it would not be less than the transit time of airmail to all locations that it was available.
Not sure if this is in the works, but I wouldn't doubt it for a second.

It is not a little delay. DeJoy is causing business to go to UPS and FedEx planes.

IMO the delays are intentional. The excuse that cost is the reason to alter the mission
