Most universities around the country, especially state funded ones, have already had to raid their foundations to help keep them afloat during this period of hating education. State legislatures have been cutting higher ed for over 20 years, since Reagan so they don't have the money to fight this. I'm glad MIT and Harvard are doing it for the sake of everyone.
