With a key indicator of the contagion inching upward, New Jersey is now calling for people traveling from three more states including neighboring Delaware to self-quarantine for 14 days after arriving in the Garden State to protect against the coronavirus.
Kansas and Oklahoma were also added to the list, Gov. Phil Murphys administration announced Tuesday.
In all, New Jersey says travelers from 19 states or 38% of the U.S. with rising new COVID-19 cases should self-quarantine for two weeks, including residents who visited those states and are now returning home.
They are: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.
