Trump camp descends on Pennsylvania as alarms grow over 2020

10. Trump's 2016 win here was a complete fluke

Dems continue to win special elections since then, most recently flipping a state senate seat. I can't say this often enough, in 2016, Republicans held a super majority in the state senate, 34-16. Now there edge is 26-22 with 2 open seats to be decided during next month's primary. I think the odds are against picking up the 2 open seats in SD33 and SD41. SD33 is primarily Adams and Franklin Counties with a bit of York and Cumberland thrown in. This is generally pretty conservative, but Gov Wolf, Lt Gov Fetterman and state rep Mike Sturla are from in and around that area, so a flip is not impossible. SD41 is mostly Armstrong and Indiana counties. There are many hard-core Trumpers in it, but it's also pretty economically depressed, so a Dem running on a populist message might have a chance.

I'll also point out that voters in Trump areas are dying off every day.
