14. We should not support war just to oppose Trump

Ever since 9/11, the Republicans - be it Bush, McCain, or Trump - have always seemed to believe endless war is the answer for our national security.

Quite frankly, withdrawing from Syria and Afghanistan is the best thing I’ve heard all day. This is not to say I don’t enjoy the schaedenfraude, but there’s a big difference enjoying the fireworks versus supporting indefinitely keeping a military presence in Syria and Afghanistan just because Trump is pulling out some troops for whatever reason.
