if you become popular on youtube, you can basically quit your job.

PewdiePie made 7.4 millions in 2014.... smh

a popular "magic the gathering" video content provider was laid off from his college teaching job, but now makes enough money to not ever have to work again, at least over 100k a year.

You can also 'double dip' youtube videos, first monetize your videos, and then join patreon to have fans donate you money.
