I don't think I'd trust him with critical intelligence. I'd be afraid it would make its way to the Kremlin and/or be exploited by him and his family to make money without regard for unintended consequences.

Maybe they can work out a way of playing the briefings game with fake intel and "alternative facts" while keeping back channels to allied intel agencies open without his knowledge.
