(51,129 posts)29. Well, find is in MX, so people are criticizing a stupid "journalist" and not the young man's work.

I know that location, near a ruin I'm interested in, Uxul: 17.9451, -90.1669
Looks like an abandoned corn field. Probably another stupid journalist just grabbing the first rectangle they could find, and completely unrelated to the young man's work again.

Someone planted corn and the area grew back. Seen this many times, nothing new except those trees.

Thank you for the French translation. This kid should be so proud of his hard work, and ability.

Damn. Feel sorry for his fellow 15-yr-olds trying to compete with that science project.

I was working on making food from coal. I'd completed my antibiotics from soil work by then.

Ah, Coal Food! Tasty! So you're the one. Soil antibiotics saved the world, already! Congrats! n/t

I may have been mistaken about the corn field, local archaeologist says it may be a marijuana field.

Bad luck for the growers when people start creeping in, hoping to make off with amazing treasures!
