4. Does she actually HAVE an audience there?

It looks like somebody is just playing a recording of crowd sounds and applause, as in the Monty Python sketch where "A. Hilter" is standing in a parliamentary byelection as the "National Bocialist Party" candidate:

(that doesn't come up until 6:43 into the clip, sorry for not telling folks that earlier).
