Dems made huge inroads in a district that has been a lock for Republicans for decades. Change is never quick or easy. It will take continued and sustained effort to increase voter turnout and address voter suppression. Keep in mind, it took nearly 100 years for women to get the right to vote, because most people don't change until they have to.This is no time to give up or take a back seat to Republicans but, instead, the time to double down and increase our efforts.
