It was on the bestseller list in several Arab nations just a few years ago. It appears on the...wait for it...Japanese bestseller lists from time to time (usually in different versions). Excerpts were read in the Greek parliament a few years back. It topped the charts in Hungary, and one other former Eastern-bloc nation (can't remember off the top of my head).
