(82,849 posts)How is this a snub to women? From what I can tell, this "why we march" statement was put out by the organizing group, speaking strictly for themselves. You can speak for yourself, carry a sign or a banner that says what you want it to say, start a chant for Hillary Clinton if the mood strikes, or whatever. If the organizing group hasn't arranged everything to your personal specification, then I'll go back to my original suggestion that you organize your own march and do it the way you want. You have options, you have a voice.
It seems that someone or some group of someones is trying to pick a fight ahead of tomorrow's demonstrations, much like the PUMA (party unity my ass) mini-movement from 2008 after Obama defeated Clinton for the Democratic nomination. What is the point of this article in Fortune magazine (not noted as a feminist outlet)? It looks to me like it's trying to discredit the March.
