When we moved into the new house our old battery powered tools gave out during the installation of all the odds and ends. I bought a set of the Ryobi tools which we have added to over the years - circular saw, drill, flash/work light, chain saw, reciprocating saw, weed whacker and the fan.
The original batteries gave up and we've replaced them. So having another device that uses the same batteries works out OK - the next thing I will buy is their lantern that uses the 18 volt batteries but not for this storm.
