Here in Tallahassee, I'm hunkering down for the weekend. My husband is driving to Atlanta in the morning for DragonCon but he will be in front of the worst of it. I stopped and bought a loaf of bread on the way home today and the grocery was starting to get crazy - bread aisle was almost empty and the stock boys were bringing out bottled water as fast as they could - the carts were emptying before they could get the water on the shelves!
We've got flash flood warnings and tropical storm warnings. Hermine probably won't make it to hurricane strength and if it does, it will be a weak cat 1. With us being much closer to the Georgia line than to the coast, I'm not too worried. We may lose power if a tree goes down, but I can survive a few hours with no electricity.
