So then. 'Rock The Kasbah' is the best film ever made. A Post In Which I Draw The Line. [View all]
Bill Murray is Jesus Christ Returned, we all knew that didn't we. But this -- this film --
I will tell you why.
I was in Kabul in 1970. Beautiful. So much Human, you would love it.
I was in Tehran, on the roof of the American embassy, where I watched a Peter Graves film.
Beautiful. Classic. The Vista. So many Humans.
I have kissed an Arabic girl. Her name was Jameelah Abuhamdiyah. She tasted like --
Beautiful. And Smart. I loved her.
This is what I will tell you: I have shared their food. They have been my best friend. They are so absolutely Human --
Beautiful Humans. Us. They are us. You may not see it, because Sheboygan is SO FAR AWAY. But they are Beautiful, they are Us, and we all need each other. Every Last Soul.
You know what I mean, you of this place. Separateness is an illusion, upon which feeds hatred and fear. But there is no such thing.
To many in Sheboygan, it's just a movie. To me, it's Jameela, and Danny Malik, and Nadim Nasir, and the Bedouin kids I got in a rock fight with, and made peace with, and ate their strange fruit in a T-shirt streaming with blood. They are full of love, and they are amazing.
There's a concept -- a saying, from someone somewhere -- every enemy is a friend you haven't met yet. Well, I sanction that, and more.
Good people are everywhere. And everywhere, they are challenged and beset on all sides by Trumplings. And you know Exactly of which I speak.
And we all need each other. And we are all Beautiful. And there will come a day --
When we shall overcome. And when we do, We will do it together.
And it will be Beautiful.
السلام. Peace upon us all, everywhere, all over the Earth, this very night.
I go to walk my dog now. And I will think of all of you.
Gorgeous Humans. Arise. Shine.
