one of the reasons I am losing faith in some of my fellow progressives, if you are one. You might be a plant. But nonetheless I havee been reading words such as yours that reflect a total disregard for human life that possess brown skin since Trayvon Martin. People said he was a felon, threat, ect, ect when he wasn't and only had Skittles and a ice tea on his person.
If a white person, felon or not, gun on person or not, is shot while committing a crime or not, the outrage reaches the high heavens with apologists for the victim.
If he has brown skin, words like yours appear quickly and often. Pretty obvious the meaning behind such disregard for human life.

No. I'm just stating that the fact that he is a felon is a factual statement.

A felon in possession of a firearm is a 10 year/$100,000 fine felony on its own.

No, but it does mean you are committing a felony simply by touching a firearm.

If they were told he had a gun by a 911 call, then that may have set the scene.

Looking at his history, the big blinking red problem is the domestic violence charge/conviction.

He had a firearm in his pocket according to the cops on the video--how does that justify his murder?
