But for some reason, CNN (the outfit that just hired Trump's former campaign manager) keeps looking for "the pivot" that will make Trump a palatable candidate. As if everyone will totally forget the last nine months as soon as he says something less objectionable for two days in a row.

I realize ratings rule everything and the talent on the teevee stations are immune to the vagaries of the political system, but damn! Can't you just say straight up that Donald J. Trump is a raving lunatic?
