You want to know why we're starting to see Awesome Obama again? Thank the Occupy Movement. [View all]

This is why I've been going out there week after week, day after day, why I sat on a sidewalk and got arrested and spent a day in jail.

Because a big grassroots movement like the Occupy movement works.

A few months ago, all anyone was talking about in DC was "Cut the deficit! Cut Medicare! Cut Social Security! SUPERCOMMITTEE SLASH!!!"

Now that we've been making noise, jobs are on the table again. Taxing the wealthy is actually talked about by DC politicians.

And President Obama is sounding a lot more like the guy we were all enthusiastically supporting back in 2008.

Certainly we've got a long way to go. The reason that politicians are starting to change their tune is the same reason they're sending out the Imperial Stormtroopers to crack skulls - they're afraid of losing power.

If you want to know how to make real, positive, lasting change, just take a look around right now.
