I don't read discussions regarding torture of children or animals [View all]

No doubt these kinds of atrocities happen all the time, but this isn't why I come to DU. Lately I'm bombarded with them and to be honest, although they are NEWS, I suffer reading these "news" bits.

Do we really need to give coverage to people who have psychological problems?
