(53,035 posts)or voting rights, why are they under attack? Why are hate crimes on the rise? I can assure you, for the people whose lives are affected by all of that, the costs are very high. Of course, I don't believe that value aligns in direct relationship to economic worth, which may be why I find your post so strange. Yes, I live in a capitalist society and am like most of us an interpallated subject, but evidently I'm not interpallated enough to attribute intrinsic value to human beings and issues according to net worth. I couldn't begin to answer your question. I can't begin to relate to a worldview that ranks or evaluates issues of political economy and social justice, much less human life, in terms of dollars.
Perhaps you'd have more luck if you direct your question to someone in the insurance industry who deals with actuarial data?
