The Sunday after Thanksgiving. We were guests at a mutual friend's house. My mother was down here visiting us from Rochester NY. . . You know- where she and the OTHER progressive grannies have been raising occupy hell! Anyways - this woman brought it up.
And - I have to give my mom credit for keeping her cool through the crazy. This woman's key points?

At this point my mom brings up Health Care in this country. This woman states: it's tyranny to make people purchase health insurance.
My mom says - Oh my husband agreed - but he thought it was tyranny that we were being told to purchase health insurance from companies that should be subject to their own Lemon Laws.
This woman starts to twitch.
My mom goes on: I think people should be able to purchase Medicare via their tax contributions.
This woman explodes! 
Now I'm in on the action (Disclaimer - I live pushing the buttons of right wing wingnuts 
). . . So I add: And if Libertarians don't purchase this option, don't have health insurance, and show up to the hospital with a broken leg - they should have to pay cash upfront. . Now she's really pissed.
It goes on from there . . . But suffice to say me pointing out that Ron Paul was a Plaintiff in Citizens United and that he had a total of 24 years in DC made him a Washington insider and tool for foreign corporate interest and so he wasn't all "changey" so she should give up her hope. 
. You don't need to say a lot to them . . .you just need to point out that like him- They are entitled selfish spoiled brats and it will bite them on the ass eventually as they don't have his kind of money.
