Relaying the story of a woman with cancer was fitting since he lost his mom to that disease, and wanted better for other women:
"I remember my mother."

Obama mentions Planned Parenthood, which he has been a firm supporter of it against the stunts of Rand Paul, the most vocal on cutting funding and trying to force personhood bills in budgets on the nation as a whole.
There are good reasons he is called the First Feminist President:

He spoke for America here:
"In the end, history is not kind to those who deny Americans basic economic security. Nobody remembers well those who stand in the way of America's progress or our people. That's what the Affordable Care Act represents."
That is the change we hoped for and received. Single payer is in the ACA for 2017, to which he alludes about simplifying in the speech. We are moving ahead. I won't go into the numerous talks I am having with all kinds of health providers and patients, and those who work to keep safe the poor, elderly and disabled, who have been breathing and sleeping better since the ACA passed.
As to his comments about medical bankruptcies and losing one's home, I can witness to that and the feeling of feeling valued as a human being again. When one has lost, and lost big time despite having health insurance and 'doing all the right things,' to the schemes the for-profits have foisted on us for so long, I know Obama's heart is with the people of this country. Those who have never been tested in that way, may never need to get a plan through the ACA, but their lives will be better too.
Thanks, SunsetDreams, for this thread!
