Sorry, but gas per gallon skyrocketed after Katrina and hasn't come down much since. Yet I'm supposed to rah-rah for $3.23 gas where you live while it's $3.45 where I live which is still around the same price after Katrina when it skyrocketed And while the oil companies are pulling in the highest business profits in the billions per year. And when they not only pay no taxes but get subsidies from the government. Nope, not joining your pom-pom waving especially when the only reason no one is screaming about gas prices now is because after all these years since Katrina voices are hoarse and we've gotten used to paying astronomical gas prices for no damn reason.

Meanwhile, the Saudis are hugely pissed off at us for not doing their bidding bombing Syria off the map, and guess where we get most of our gas.
