I know a couple of compulsive liars (wish I hadn't) and they present their b.s. with such conviction and authority that people who are not savvy enough to be able to spot b.s. are taken in by it simply because of the confidence with which they state it. Compulsive lying and narcissistic personality disorder goes hand in and and narcissists cannot imagine they would ever be wrong. Add the corporate media to the mix of that and you have the nightmare we now live with.
