It sounds like she added a lot of joy to your life. It is so painful when a beloved furry family member passes away. I grieved more when my dog and cat passed away than I did when my father died. I'm not sure why that is but losing them caused such a profound sadness that has been hard to shake off. Take care.

I had a little dog that I had to put down, too...I cried for days and it still, these many years
