Top Ten Conservative Idiots of the week [View all]

Clown Car Edition

It's Yom Kippur and I have to suffer by looking and reading conservative idiots all week. I hope you all know I am atoning for my sins by weeding through this crap. The presidential election has started and people are throwing their names in the ring on that side of the aisle. The latest: Peter King (1). The Iowa Legislature (3) gives gun permits to strange people, Arizona Teabaggers (6) prove the phrase “idiot” applies to them, and George Zimmerman's life (10) seems to be getting interesting. And as always, don't forget the key.

Peter King

Woo hoo. . .All aboard the Republican Presidential clown car for 2016. Chris Christie (Gov – Blimpland) is moving towards that, Canadian Senator Ted Cruz (R-Jesse Helms lover) is pandering to the base, Bobby Jindal (Gov – Howdy Doody) is going to try apparently. So is Marco Rubio (R – Thirst) and, right now, so is. . . Peter King?

Yes, Peter King. . . Republican hachet man and anti-Muslim bigot (who ”doesn't care about facts”) from Long Island has thrown his klanhood into the ring for the 2016 Race for Second Place (like that? It rhymes!)

According to the NY Daily News:

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Rep. Peter King won’t be the best known Republican presidential candidate in 2016, but he is the first.

King, making his second of four scheduled visits to the state in the summer and fall, told a New Hampshire radio station Friday that he’s there “because right now I'm running for President.”

Oh, 2016 is going to be more entertaining that 2012. We need more people to join in. Maybe Tom Tancredo can make a comeback. He and Steve King can attempt to out-race bait each other. Mike Huckabee won't. . .he's making too much money burping platitudes on Fixed Noise. Michele Bachmann is about to go to prison.

BTW, look at this opinion laced sentence from the same article.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]ing (R-L.I.) has said he is testing the waters to push the field away from what he considers the isolationist views of potential GOP candidates like the libertarian leaning Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and conservative firebrand Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).

Leaning? Rand Paul leans libertarian? Oh for the love of pandering God! There is nothing leaning” about Rand Paul. He doesn't lean. He's a libertarian prone senator. Nice attempt to make Paul seem more palatable. We know who the media will soon anoint the GOP front runner. But, judging from 2012, the GOP front runner has a political life expectancy shorter than ice cream in the summer sun.

I wonder when we will hear the name Bush used. God help us all!

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]
Mike Coffman

Former marine and current Colorado Congressman Mike Coffman made news recently telling people that Obama needs to get Congressional approval for his military venture in another country's civil war, claiming that the president had to follow the War Powers Act of 1973 and the Constitution requirement for congressional approval. That was last week.

This week, Coffman spoke out of the other side of his mouth. Let's follow the time line.

First, LAST WEEK:

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Rep. Mike Coffman of Colorado is providing little in the way of leadership on an issue he should be an expert on as a former Marine officer. Instead, Coffman has seemingly reversed full circle from his original statement last week:

Since the United States is not in danger of an "imminent attack" the President must follow the Constitution and the War Powers Act of 1973 and come to the Congress for support before going forward with a military strike of any kind.
Okay. . .that I partially agree with. Presidents do need to go through Congress to get approval to use the military as MIC cannon fodder. I accept that. Please proceed, Mr. Coffman.

Now, THIS WEEK:

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]To, as CBS4 reported yesterday:

Coffman says the delay in striking Assad has wasted precious time.

“The Assad government has had all the time in the world to move their assets around so they don’t present themselves as easy targets,” he said.
Oh. . .I see how it works. Demand Obama get Congressional approval, then slam him for doing what you suggested because it will cause a “delay.” This is what is called embarrassingly and stunningly full of shit.

Next week, Coffman has a meeting with Obama apparently. The topic he will bring up: “Does Obama still beat his wife?”

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]
Iowa Legislature

Having the job as a legislator is tough sometimes. Your constitutes always have problems they want you to solve. . .you have to make fund raising calls and suck at the teet of wealthy Americans that can buy you. Sometimes, you actually do some real business and pass a few laws, but that shouldn't get in the way of goofing off, jacking off and kissing off.

Iowa legislators are no exception. When they pass laws, they pass them for everyone. Recently they decided there was a group of people that had been denied their second amendment rights for years: The blind.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]In a move sure to leave gun safety advocates scratching their heads, Iowa is issuing gun permits to the blind.

The permits allow legally blind applicants to purchase weapons and carry them in public. Per state law, any attempt to deny an Iowan these rights based on physical ability would be illegal, reports the Des Moines Register.

Hmm. . .gun permits to the blind. Sounds safe and good. Mr. Magoo with a revolver, shooting at random noises in random directions. What could possibly go wrong?

There are supporters of this new law. From the same article:

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]"When you shoot a gun, you take it out and point and shoot, and I don't necessarily think eyesight is necessary," said Michael Barber, a blind man interviewed by The Register at a gun store in Iowa last month.

Okay, let's follow the logic. You point and shoot. Eyesight is not necessary. Following that logic:

1: Running events should be open to people with no legs.
2: Bathrooms should be unisex because when you gotta go, gender doesn't matter.
3: The mentally unstable should have guns because mental stability isn't necessary.
4: Blind people should be allowed to drive, because eyesight is not necessary in an automatic transmission car. Just point and drive.

Of course, LEO's in Iowa are flabbergasted.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Explains Delaware County Sheriff John LeClere, "If you see nothing but a blurry mass in front of you, then I would say you probably shouldn't be shooting something.”

Counters Cedar County Sheriff Warren Wethington, who has a legally blind daughter, “If sheriffs spent more time trying to keep guns out of criminals’ hands and not people with disabilities, their time would be more productive.”

Damn tree hugging peaceniks. How dare they! Who are they to say anything about guns and the law? Oh. . .yeah. Never mind. Sorry I said anything, Sheriff.

When will this masturbatory love for a hand cannon end?

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]
Michele Bachmann

Batshit Bachmann is back, like herpes. She's the comedic gift that just keeps giving. Since this harpie is heading to prison soon (please let that happen) with her fruit-cake hubby Marcus, she's decided to go completely batshit crazy in her rhetoric.

First, she claims an organization was “horrified” by 9/11 was responsible for it, not Obama Bin Laden.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) suggested the Muslim Brotherhood was behind the 9/11 attacks during a press conference in Egypt on Saturday.

"We have seen the threat that the Muslim Brotherhood has posed here for the people in Egypt. We have seen the threat that the Muslim Brotherhood has posed around the world," Bachmann said. "We stand against this great evil. We are not for them. We remember who caused 9/11 in America. We remember who it was that killed 3,000 brave Americans. We have not forgotten.”

The Muslim Brotherhood denounced the attacks shortly after they occurred, with several leaders saying they were "horrified by the events" of September 11.

Yes. . .you read that right. It was the Muslim Brotherhood. So the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to the logical conclusion of Bachmann, were unnecessary and unneeded. Where was she when Bush was in office.

Not to be outdone, she decided to crawl back on the Crazy Train and going Top Ten favorites Louie Gohmert (R-Mars) and Steve King (R-Pluto) in thanking the Egyptian military for toppling their government and their violent, bloody and heavy-handed crackdowns against the Muslim Brotherhood. Nothing says Republican like enjoying people getting cut to ribbons. Especially brown people.

Then, her crazy train stopped at Moronville where Bachmann pulled out this gem.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn, said that the attacks that took place on September 11, and in Benghazi, were judgments from God.

According to Salon, Bachman said that it was not a secret that the United States will be experiencing the hand of judgment, and that many are concerned that the country may be in a time of decline. Bachmann was speaking at a prayer event in D.C.

Now she's channeling Fred Phelps. Will she come out and say “God hates Fags” too? Way to love America, Batshit.

Finally, the crazy train stops at its final stop. . .Witchland. Here, Bachmann goes for all the gusto she can grab when she waxes idiotically about defeating Hillary Clinton in 2016. Guess who needs to intervene.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]After a lengthy interview with Jan Markell about President Obama’s supposed push for an Islamic caliphate, Michele Bachmann spoke to the Christian Right radio host about the 2016 presidential election, immigration reform and the Last Days.

Bachmann pushed back on Markell’s fera that Hillary Clinton will be elected president: “I don’t at all because I look at the story of David and Goliath, all David needed was one smooth stone to fell the giant. It wasn’t the stone, it wasn’t David, it was the strong right arm of a Holy God.”

She said that if “we repent, if we cry out to God, we have no idea what the Lord God will do for us in 2016.”

God hate Hillary. Smite Hillary with David's slingshot.

When does she go to prison already?

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]
Terry Jones

Fred Phelps isn't the only religious embarrassment shaming America these days. Demon spawn and professional asshole Terry Jones (now, not the Monty Python guy, he's awesome) wanted to burn Korans on 9/11. Racist, bigoted, unbelievably callous and just plain intolerant. Nothing new to the religious right. Remember, they make their living selling hate and packaging it as God's will and Jesus's word.

But, it appears his little exercise in religious race-baiting didn't happen: He was arrested.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Jones planned to burn the books at the county-owned Loyce E. Harpe Park in Mulberry, but was denied a permit, with officials saying he filed his request too late and that he does not have permission for an event of that magnitude.

But shortly before he planned to set the Qurans on fire, Jones was stopped at a nearby McDonald's. His truck was towing a large barbecue smoker, which reportedly had copies of the Quran inside, doused in kerosene.

Polk deputies took Jones into custody and was arrested. The Lakeland Ledger reports Jones and an associate are facing traffic-related offenses for driving with kerosene in the grill.

Poor guy. All he wanted to to was piss off 1.5 billion Muslims by burning their holy book in the same place you cook pork. And he got sent to jail for breaking the law by putting Kerosene in the grill and driving.

Come on, cops. . .leave him alone. He wanted to get his hard-on faster, so why bother with the labor intensive thing of carrying the kerosene in a legal container. Just put it in something unsafe, get to your park and 'FIRE IT UP!” After all, it's just Muslims anyway.

After being arrested, Terry Jones went home, took his bible and started hitting himself with it, screaming “I failed Jesus,” while failing to understand that Jesus preached love, not hate.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]
Arizona Teabaggers

According to Baggers, public property is now private. You heard me right.

In Arizona (ugh. . .my home state again), Baggers in Phoenix really decided to lay it into people. First they called them 'Commies,' like it was the 1950s and McCarthy had been reincarnated. Then they went completely nuts.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Tea Partiers think the Arizona Capitol is “private property”. So when they get a permit to hold an event, they think they can keep out people they don’t like by screaming “Commie!” and other old school insults not fit to print. It’s not as if there wasn’t room for one more…

This anti amnesty event was sparsely attended at best.

Sparsely. . .like Klu Klux King's event a few weeks back? Anyway, apparently, their argumentative skills against the journalist are at par with the best debater and public speaker.

But this begs the question. . .who owns the “private property” of a State Capitol? I always thought it belongs to the people. Maybe the Baggers know that every state capital and Washington DC, the courts and the SCOTUS are wholy owned by big business and the Baggers are acting as proxies for those poor, oppressed corporations that never get anything they want because of those shiftless minorities on welfare.

The journalist puts it better than I can.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Lots of tough talk from old white men, including “Motherfuc*er! Get the fu*k outta here motherfuc*er!” and “Commie!” (Apparently if you scream Commie three times and click your heels, liberals are supposed to turn to dust like it’s 1950.)

Maybe if I scream “piss off racist” enough, they will disappear. One can only hope.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]
Tony Sutton

Oh how the little have fallen. Tony Sutton WAS a Minnesota state Lege-critter that screamed for fiscal responsibility. His mantra was to tell DFLers to “live within their means.” Guess what? He declared bankruptcy.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]A hard-charging former state Republican Party chairman whose constant refrain to DFLers and even GOP lawmakers was “live within your means” has declared personal bankruptcy, the latest twist in one of the most dramatic political downfalls in recent state history.

At the height of his power, Tony Sutton demanded that Republican legislators oppose all tax increases and keep state spending strictly in line with revenue. Few realized it at the time, but the GOP’s finances under Sutton’s management were a shambles, and the same scenario was playing out in his personal life.

Now, I am not a person that will gloat when people have economically hard times. I've had mine. But I'm sorry, this is funny as hell. “Do as I tell you. . .but I won't follow it” seems to be a Republican political plank on their “Personal Responsibility” platform.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Sutton and his wife, Bridget Sutton, an Inver Grove Heights school board member and former Republican operative, say they owe $2.1 million, including $70,000 of credit card debt, $20,000 in federal student loans, unpaid state and federal taxes, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in unsecured personal loans to cover business expenses. At the time they filed, the Suttons had no life or health insurance.

Don't go on public assistance, Tony. . .you're a Republican. Pick yourself up by your boot straps, you lazy bum! You made your bed. . .you sleep in it.

Sucks when it's used again you, doesn't it.

By the way, he refuses to talk to the media or give a comment, so I will give one for him

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]SUTTON: To the people of Minnesota: I am a hypocritical asshole that told you to live within your means when I refused to live within my means. I will now sink back into my hole, after the bank repossesses my home, pray I don't get sick because I have no health insurance and shut up for the rest of my life. I'm not never worth more dead than alive, because I have no life insurance either. To the people of Minnesota. . .I am the worst type of hypocrite in the world.

That's what he should say. I don't think he will.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]
Shutdown Republicans

The GOP really hated Obamacare. I mean, they really, really hate Obamacare. They have tried 40 times to kill it. And 40 times, it died. 41st time is the charm. Here we go again!

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]A Republican leadership plan to avoid a direct threat to shut down the government is being derided by some conservatives as a "hocus-pocus" measure that falls well short of their demands for an "Obamacare" showdown.

Republican aides said the plan, which will be floated by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor to party members on Tuesday, would allow for an extension of government funding for several weeks past the September 30 fiscal year-end.

Hey, Cantor. . .where are the jobs? Where is are the laws? How many days have you been on vacation? Please proceed.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Cantor is planning to hold a House vote later this week on his plan to deny funds to the health care law while extending government spending authority, but Republican conservatives say that the measure will likely prove ineffective.

Oh, Baggers won't like that. Spending by the government on things other than prisons, military and wars. . .DOA, Eric.

Realizing that they have no good cards in their hand, Republicans decided to go all in in their threats. Again, Eric Cantor is at the forefront.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]On Tuesday, during a closed-door meeting with Republicans, Cantor announced that the party won’t support raising the nation’s $16.7 trillion borrowing limit unless President Obama agrees to a one-year delay of the health care law.

Destroy the world's economy and plunge the world in a near un-recoverable permanent economic depression because they will allow the US to default on their loans unless they get what they want. Children do the same thing on the playground.

Still, they did say they would fund other programs if Obamacare was defunded. The SNAP program, which provides food assistance to the poorest Americans isn't one they will fund. In fact, they want to cut it.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Next week the House will vote on legislation to cut SNAP by roughly 5 percent. The bill is bypassing the House Agriculture Committee, which oversees food stamps, because it is a priority of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.).

Eric Cantor again. . .why am I not surprised? He is angling to be the next minority leader after the Ohio Tearduct retires. . .on the backs of those shiftless, lazy people that don't allow the richest Americans to get what they want at any time of their lives.

The fact these people get elected and re-elected proves how low the American IQ has become. Time to cut school funding again.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]
Missouri Republicans

Obamacare isn't the only thing Republicans get their panties in a wad over. Over in the state of Missouri, the GOP in the Lege tried twice to over-ride gubernatorial vetoes. Twice they failed miserably. First, from the New York Times:

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Missouri’s Republican-dominated State Legislature failed Wednesday to override the Democratic governor’s veto of a sweeping tax-cut bill, a showdown that had inflamed partisan passion and mobilized supporters and opponents in all corners of the state.

The bill would have slashed taxes for businesses and lowered the state’s income tax rate for the first time in more than 90 years. “It’s a defining moment,” Gov. Jay Nixon said at a news conference in his office after his veto was upheld. “Today was about protecting our economy, our communities and, especially, our school from this costly and misguided bill.”

So, the Great Missouri Economic Toilet Flush was veteoed and the Lege failed to overturn the veto. Good work whomever turned the screws and got the GOP clowns to realize destroying the state's finances might not be the best thing in the world.

Now, on to CNN:

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]A controversial gun measure won't become law in Missouri after a push to override the governor's veto fell one vote short of approval in the state's Senate Wednesday. The measure, HB 436, would have essentially nullified federal gun laws in Missouri.

Wayne LaPierre won't be happy. Neither will the gun nuts. They wanted to nillify federal law in Missouri. So much for the constitutional Supremacy clause and the long standing legal precedent of Gibbons V. Odgen.

Personally, I enjoy watching the GOP getting smacked down like this. Election day 2014 should be fun too. I see the country swinging bright blue.

George Zimmerman

And finally, Zimmer-man is back like herpes and a bad penny. Apparently, he is getting divorced and didn't take it well. Zimmerman decided to visit his wife and her family, and there was a confrontation.

Lake Mary police say they were called to a house on Sprucewood Road Monday afternoon after a report that Zimmerman was involved in an altercation with another person with a threat involved.

An altercation with another person? Why does that sound familiar? Oh yes. . .because the last time this “innocent” man had a confrontation with someone, it was a black kid that he murdered.

But this guy seems to have nine lives. He walked scot-free again.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]No charges will be filed against George Zimmerman after an alleged altercation with his estranged wife and her father, Lake Mary, Florida, Police Chief Steve Bracknell said Monday.

"Shellie Zimmerman has declined prosecution (after consulting with her attorney)," Bracknell said.

Typical. George Zimmerman does shit and walks away like telfon. The man is a ticking time bomb. However, something else is troubling with this story.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]George Zimmerman had a bodyguard in the truck with him when police arrived.

Why do you need a bodyguard? Can't you just by another gun and shoot people when you “stand your ground?” Need someone to corroborate your lie when you shoot your next person in a fight you start, Georgie?

So, why did Georgie not get charged by police? Apparently, they covered for him again, challenging that he had a gun. Wait? Last time he had a gun, he killed a child. But the police in Lake Mary think the story that Zimmy had a gun is bollocks.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]Lake Mary Police are now questioning the validity of several statements Shellie Zimmerman made when she told 911 dispatchers her estranged husband, George Zimmerman, threatened her and her father at gunpoint Monday afternoon.

"We did not find a gun, did not locate a weapon," said Zach Hudson, public information officer with the Lake Mary Police Department. "Nobody ever saw a gun. A gun is not part of this story."

Just like you didn't find any evidence that Trayvon Martin was the aggressor and then pressured the medical examiner to lie because no one wanted to speak for some black kid.

[div class="excerpt" style="background-color:#F4E0E0; border:1px solid #E8C0C0; box-shadow:-1px -1px 3px #C66666 inset; border-radius:0.6em; margin:0.5385em 0em 0em 0.5385em;"]On Tuesday WFTV, an ABC/FNN affiliate in Orlando, Florida, dropped a bombshell when they reported that Dr. Shiping Bao, the Volusia County Medical Examiner who examined Trayvon Martin’s body in February of 2012, alleged that the prosecutor intentionally lost the case. He alleges that they did not want to win the case because of a bias against Martin.

Dr. Bao’s attorney, Willie E. Gary, told the TV station that his client was basically told to keep quiet about inconvenient facts. He said that the general attitude seemed to have been, “he got what he deserved.” Dr. Bao, he said, was ready to testify, with scientific evidence to support his findings that Trayvon could not have been on top of Zimmerman pounding his head into the ground when he was shot. He was simply waiting for the Prosecutor to ask the question and the question never came.

Dr. Bao filed a $100 million dollar lawsuit after her dismissal. If this goes to trial, I want to see what the good doctor will say.

This is getting interesting in Florida. The Trayvon Martin story is far from over.

See you next week.
