But that doesn't guarantee that he is absolutely infallible and can't make poor decisions.
Am I a racist if I dare criticize Obama merely because he is African American? Perhaps I should point out that I have found fault with some of the decisions made by every President who was in office after JFK (all who were white males).
My personal opinion of Obama at this time is that he is a excellent speaker and campaigner with many truly great ideas that I support. Unfortunately he is not as great a leader. With his oratory skill and his charisma he should be able to use his "bully pulpit" to overcome much of the resistance to his policies that he faces from both the Republican and Democratic members of Congress. It's not easy but great leaders overcome obstacles.
I was truly hoping that Obama would go down in history as one of our truly great Presidents. Now I am beginning to fear that he will just be remembered as our first African American President whose greatest success was to implement the start of a new health care system. He basically will be considered just a good President.
