24. I don't discuss politics with my mechanic.

May 2013

I don't discuss politics with my doctor, my accountant, or the person who grills my pattymelt at the Waffle House, either. Not within the context of the reason I'm there in the first place.

Just like I don't walk up to casual acquaintances and say right off the bat "Boy those republicans are real scumbags, aren't they?" I don't like that approach, out of the clear blue, when it's done to me, and I'll afford them the same courtesy by not proselytizing whenever I open my mouth.

Yup. Im not giving him or her money to donate to RW nutjobs. bunnies May 2013 #1
