This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Turborama (a host of the General Discussion forum).

Just something that bugs me when people accuse harsh attacks on the Catholic church as "bigotry". That's like saying similar posts about the Republican party are also. No one is forced to be a Catholic. Sure many are forced to be born into the church, but everyone as an adult is free to leave. Leaving is incredibly easy, it's easier than moving to a different state or even city. I did it and it was one of the easiest, non-regrettable and uncontroversial decisions I've ever made.
