15. Cheap locks are generally pretty easy to pick

I have a set of lock picks and sometimes I demonstrate to the folks I work with just how easy it is to pick certain types of locks. If someone uses a set of lock picks and knows what they are doing, you'd never know it, however there are other ways to defeat locks which can damage them. If someone does know what they are doing and doesn't care about damaging the lock, drilling is one of the fastest and easiest ways to defeat cheap locks. It sounds like if someone did try to mess with your lock, they probably didn't know what they were doing.
