32. Working class Repubs voting against their better interests.

Just like here in Ohio where the TeaBillies elected Kasich, they buy into the notion that they can better live free instead of dying by voting for republicans who want to "get the government out of their lives" through killing things like public education.

This trend began under "No Child Left Behind" where vouchers were distributed to subsidize parents who wanted to send their kids to private (white) schools or use home schooling. The result would be decreased enrollment and the eventual closing of their local school buildings. When the subsidies run out, parents would find classes overcrowded and underfunded. Just as Republicans planned. The advantage to the wealthy is they'll pay less to educate someone else's kid.

These ignorant voters think they're on their way to great wealth and will soon be able to benefit from the policies of "small government".
