(51,197 posts)Not everyone that voted for him in 2020 all feel the same way. There will be hard core supporters no matter what. And there will some that begin to see what he is.
It is like a union contract. There may be 50,000 members that are part of the union contract. Not all of them are going to be satisfied. Some will vote no the first time no matter what. Others will look at the contract and try to see if it is a good contract. Some will nit-pik voting no because they are only looking how it impacts them. Some will look at the contract and see if it is overall good for most and likely the best they can get. There may be other perspectives.
There are various groups within the membership. Assembly line workers. Skilled trades. And others. Some may be new and are not looking long term. Some might have family or don't have those obligations. Maybe there are education opportunities. Some may be nearing retirement and might consider it if the contract provides a good deal. They all have issues that may not be the same as others.
The same works for politics. And in the case of Trump. There are likely to be a lot that will not vote for the creep. So many events have transpired starting with the January 6 insurrection. And continuing with the court cases. The threshold will be low for many of those causing them to either not vote for Trump or voting for Biden.
