All of these people in the ME: Christians, Jews and Muslims, who all worship the same god, all fighting to prove their version of God is the "best".

All fighting over scraps of dirt because on some particular piece of dirt, some person did some thing and therefore it's important enough to die for and kill anyone that says differently.

I'm tired of it all. I don't care anymore. If all these people want to kill each other over some plot of dirt or some scrap of paper found in a cave that some long dead person wrote on, I say let them.
Build a wall around it and let them go at each other.
Just leave me out of it.
People truly are at their most obnoxious, mean spirited, vindictive and rude when it comes to religion and land. No need to be defensive or offended. Or comment on how wrong I am. I can already see the eye roll and self assured sense of superiority before you even read the sentence. Don't worry, you are right and I am wrong.

We are a small group of people on a small planet, hurdling through time and space in a universe so vast our minds have no frame of reference to truly comprehend it.
That is our reality.

We can spend our very limited lives fighting each other. Killing each other. Destroying everything we've built and that's fine. We will die and the universe will move on. We aren't even a blink of an eye to an indifferent universe.
Or
We can be better. Make everyone's life better. One person. One family member. One neighbor. One stranger at a time.
I am not going to idolize billionaires.
I am not going to bow to religion.
I am not playing puppet to news or social media.
I'm not playing the fool for politicians.

I am going to make mistakes.
I am going to say the wrong things.
I am going to be kind.
I am going to be understanding.
I am going to learn.

I am going to endeavor to be the best person I can be and that is just going to have to be enough.
