Three years to investigate and indict, two years to prosecute (and he was serving as his own attorney), and nearly a year to sentence.
And he was guilty of one of the worst data breaches in CIA history- posted classified docs on a public website.
And he couldn't delay the process with claims of Executive Privilege and Attorney-client privilege.
You have your own opinion of how long things should take, and then there is the reality that is largely beyond the control of any single person, whether that is Garland, Smith, Trump or any judge involved.
