Is the State Department the "these people" you are referring to who "think the rest of the world is blind and stupid"?

And, to fool the world, the State Department makes statements without knowing WTF they are talking about?

And the only sources available to the State Department that go into their assessments are what is available to "us" through videos and statements on social media?

No, I suspect that the State Department, along with the rest of the world, is not blind and stupid enough to make assessments based on Al Jazeera articles that use unverified witness accounts and Hamas propaganda.

With a few exceptions, perhaps.
