Well, I'm a man who cooks, but my mom taught me. My partner does many things well, just not that. In one infamous incident, he had this cream of mushroom soup going on the stove. Then he asks, "Do we have lemon juice?" We do. But why is it going in a cream of mushroom soup? He puts lemon in everything in unnecessary quantities - I hate lemon.
I grabbed the container out of the fridge and put it in the garage. "Sorry, we must be out."
And then I sat there sweating. Because we have a lemon tree, and I was quietly praying it slipped his mind. It had.
Look at this horror show in my fridge! They're jars of lemon juice!

I don't condone fibbing, even to one's partner. The partner and you should be honest enough, respect each other

Such relationships are doomed, I would think, if this is the way they handle things. Maybe that's why there are so many

Yes, and I'm sure it's a good thing for sane people to break relationships with rightwingers.
Think. Again.
