They had to cut a LOT of corners to get that price down. Reminds me of the Smart car that was all the rage in Europe back around 2000. They eventually brought it to the US but to make it legal here they had to modify it so much it ended up costing the price of a regular car. Still, a $12,000 EV with even 150 miles of range would be a BFD. Ill believe it when I see it driving on the streets here.

When I lived in the US it was staggering how many POS cars I saw. Something you rarely see here.

Yes, Teslas definitely have the best charging network. I think all EVs will end up on it.
